Ashley Hua, Portfolio

Introduction

Hi! I am a recent graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and a minor in Business. I am deeply interested in the intersection of scalable software engineering, data architecture, and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). During my time at UIUC, I served as a CS Student Ambassador assisting with prospective student initiatives, and was an active member of the Social Committee of Women in CS, balancing technical development with community building.

This fall, I am heading to UCLA to pursue my Master of Science in Computer Science. There, I will be continuing my research at the intersection of HCI and collaborative systems, specifically exploring how members of scienfitic research groups navigate informal peer support. In the meantime, I am kicking off my professional career this July as a DTS Analyst at AArete, where I’ll be expanding my skill set in cloud infrastructure and data applications.
